Edward T. Hall

Edward T. Hall (1914–2009) was an American anthropologist and intercultural researcher known for concepts such as proxemics (study of personal space) and high-context versus low-context communication. Training materials frequently credit him with popularising the cultural iceberg teaching metaphor.
