Tiers[edit]

Tiers and entries from the IcebergThreads version[2]. Notes after a dash are shortened from the author's explanations.

Well-Known Webseries[edit]

  • Solarballs – A pretty popular webseries centering the lives of anthropormorphic celestial bodies. As far as I know, it is also known for the amount of story arcs it has.
  • Three Minute Science – A webseries in a similar fashion to Solarballs, except it focused more on the educational part.
  • Planethumans – A genre of art where they draw planets and even other celestial bodies as gijinkas
  • Earth Chan – A chibified version of Earth who is commonly seen wearing a NASA shirt.
  • Object Cosmos – A pretty infamous non-competitive Object Show webseries, I must say. For the sake of your sanity, do NOT look further into this.
  • Spaceballs/Planetballs – A series similar to Countryballs by Polandball
  • History/Future Timelines videos – A genre of videos where they describe the history of the Solar System in a timeline format as well as trying to predict the future of it.
  • Pluto's Reprisal – An FNF mod about planets. There's also Pluto's Reprisal covers of other planets songs, which I will explain in the tier below it.
  • The Moon Woke Up – A horror/comedy series set in an alternative timeline where the Moon is revealed to be alive and crashes into the Earth, causing a calamity. SolarBalls also made a video based on that series.

Children's Media[edit]

  • Kids Learning Tube – A channel that makes science video. There is some controversy going on due to the channel being bought out by ZATV/Electric Monster, which basically changed the style of videos, upsetting a majority…
  • StoryBots – StoryBots made an album out of their twelve song albums about outerspace, which includes the Sun, the Moon, the stars, and the eight planets.
  • Hopscotch Songs – Hopscotch made a series of Space Songs starting with 'The Planets of Our Solar System' in collaboration with the Hoover Jam. This particular song is how the channel got a bit of fame due to people…
  • Dr. Binocs 'Planets 101' – A series of videos made by Dr. Binocs. There's also one made on stars, as far as I know.
  • Bemular – Bemular music made a planet song along with a dwarf planet song. There's also a video where the dwarf planets made a cover of the planets song.
  • KidsTV123 – KidsTV123 made a video about the planets. That's... all I could say.
  • In a World Music/The Nirks – A channel that focuses on making space song content, however, what makes them stand out is that they use puppets made of the many celestial bodies.
  • Singing Planets – A YouTube channel centered around planets with tiny human bodies singing nursery rhymes.
  • Cocomelon Planets Song – Cocomelon (previously known as ABCKidTV) made a song about the eight planets.

Even More Children's Media[edit]

  • Zula Patrol – A CGI TV show that aired on Qubo and PBS about a team of aliens from planet Zula that helps planets on their problems. There are also episodes focused around science in general, not just planets.
  • PinkFong – PinkFong made a series of Space Songs in 2018and later had a sudden resurgence of new space songs in 2021 that are first uploaded to the Hogi channel. However, they seemed to stop making videos…
  • Unusual Planets – A series made by the same creators behind 'It's Aumsum Time'.
  • JunyTony – JunyTony is a Korean kids channel that is sort of similar to PinkFong in terms of content (but they're not a ripoff because the company behind this channel worked with PinkFong during PinkFong's…
  • Planets in Popular Shows – There are appearances of anthropormorphic planets and celestial bodies in TV shows like Blue's Clues and TAWOG.
  • Toy Time Town – A channel that posts videos featuring anthropormorphic planets. An interesting fact is that they used to be a toy channel (hence the name) before they switch to space content
  • Tiny Tunes – They made a planets song. The only reason I included this is because a friend of mine requested me for it and also because they have a Pluto's Reprisal cover made of it.
  • Let's Booksplore: Space – A webseries made by PinkFong and posted in the Hogi channel where Hogi meets some planets along with stars, The Sun and the Moon

Other Media from YouTube[edit]

  • The Kids' Picture Show – They made a few videos about the planets, including some dwarf planets as well.
  • Our Solar Neighbourhood – A song video by Kevyn's Korner.
  • Mr. Demaio – Mr. Demaio is a YouTube channelthat makes funny educational content. The channel made some videos about the planets and I also recommend watching this video as it is pretty funny to watch.
  • Planets (2012-2013 Webseries) – A webseries about planets made by Smosh. Pretty much older generation's equvalent to Solarballs.
  • Tom Cardy - Hot Shit – One of my friends recommended to add this entry to this iceberg (thanks a lot) so huge shoutout to her! So apparently this is a song made by Tom Cardy and IDK a lot about this song so please check it…
  • Other Children's Planet Songs – If you search up planet songs, then you'll see many other songs that are not included in this iceberg.
  • Final Fronteirs – a Lost Space show made by PJ kelly, sadly, both the show and the rest of the channel are lost.

Crossing International Borders[edit]

  • PinkFong Planets Song bootlegs – There are some ripoffs made based on the Space Songs by PinkFong. Examples of this are from Zarok TV and Dinosaur Qiqi. Dinosaur Qiqi's bootlegs are so far not in YouTube, but instead it's found in…

  • Miniyo – A Turkish childrens' songs channel. Their planet songs are somewhat a well-known feature of this channel.
  • CosmoSwag – A Korean webseries created by Bean Studios. It is an educational show featuring celestial bodies in funny situations. I also made an iceberg specifically focused around this series.
  • 우주송 – Some obscure Korean web animation about planets made by LGScienceLab.

Not a Lot of People Know These[edit]

  • Jiggly Shark and Ice Mom Planet Quiz – Jiggly Shark and Ice Mom is a channel that makes planet videos. This entry is included because there is a video where they essentially plagerised the planet characters from Hopscotch.
  • Planet Happy Toons – A fan show based on the PinkFong space songs. Apparently, somewhere in 2020-2021, PinkFong copyright striked the show due to some scenes featured in a few of the episodes that feature gore. The show…
  • Planets: The Greatest Show in the Universe – A show made by BlueZoo. I can't seem to find any more content besides a few articles about the show so good luck searching.

Very Obscure and Possibly Lost[edit]

  • 우주송 (alternate version) – Other than that, I also recalled two videos about that animation, one being a comparison between two different versions of the video but other than that not much is know. I also remembered that…
